Today, June 27, the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, arrived in Bashkortostan. At the Ufa International Airport, the Russian parliament’s upper house speaker was met by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

Valentina Matvienko will participate in the program of the 10th anniversary Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus in the republic's capital. The Chairman of the Federation Council will visit the main venues of the summit, including the exhibition of achievements of the national economy and the festival of arts, "Slavianski Bazaar in the Heart of Eurasia". And on June 28, Valentina Matvienko will participate in the forum's plenary session.
