Central Election Commission of Bashkiria has set election date for Seventh Convocation State Assembly deputies

The Republican Central Election Commission, at its regular meeting, scheduled the elections of deputies of the State Assembly - the Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the seventh convocation for September 10, 2023. This was reported on the CEC website.

The State Assembly is elected for five years and consists of 110 deputies. 55 deputies are elected in single-mandate constituencies (one constituency - one deputy), the remaining 55 deputies - in a single republican constituency in proportion to the number of votes cast for the lists of candidates nominated by electoral associations. A citizen of the Russian Federation who has reached the age of 21 on the day of voting and has the right to vote can be elected a deputy of the State Assembly.

The members of the commission approved the list of documents compiled during the elections of deputies of the State Assembly by district election commissions based on applications from candidates nominated in single-member constituencies and forms of certificates used by candidates for deputies, authorized representatives, and proxies of candidates and electoral associations, and certificates of an elected deputy of the State Assembly seventh convocation.
