3000 guests will come to X Russia and Belarus Regions Forum in Ufa

It is expected that 3,000 guests will arrive in the capital of Bashkiria for the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, which will be held on June 26-28. 300 of them are VIP guests. The Republican Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities, Margarita Bolycheva, spoke in detail about the forum program at the government's operational meeting.

25 governors of Russian regions have already confirmed participation in the forum, 7 governors from Belarus, and heads of the Russian and Belarusian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Members of the governments of the two countries are expected to attend. The delegation of Russia will be headed by the Chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, and Belarus - Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova.

As part of the forum’s business program, thematic sections will work; on June 28, Valentina Matvienko and Natalia Kochanova will meet with the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and regions of Belarus. A plenary session is scheduled for the same day, which will be dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the forum, a discussion of its results and prospects.

Intergovernmental and interregional cooperation agreements and other documents to expand bilateral cooperation will be signed at various venues as part of the forum's business program. More than 100 agreements are planned to be signed at the Forum. Bashkiria intends to sign 26 documents on cooperation with colleagues from Belarus regarding the development of the economy, education, inter-municipal cooperation, culture, tourism, etc.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that at the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, the production of the Amkodor Company would be launched.
