Today, June 9, at the Ufa Arena, the Head of Bashkortostan and the General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Svetlana Chupsheva, held an interactive dialogue with young people, where they discussed the topic: “Cyber Generation: New Opportunities for Young Talents”. Schoolchildren - winners of the National Technological Olympiad - could ask the distinguished guests questions of interest.
The Head of the Republic noted that the real future of Bashkortostan and Russia lies at this meeting.
“We were once your age when there were no such games. I, for example, subscribed to the magazine "Young Technician" and learned how to make some crafts from it. Then we went to the House of Pioneers, where there were all kinds of circles. We see that the young generation craves engineering and IT technologies, and we try to support you in this area.
Bashkortostan is decisive in this regard. We have robust technical universities. Ufa University of Science and Technology is developing an advanced engineering school. Bashkortostan has always had a strong tradition of engineering and new technologies. It's great that we have guys like this growing up. I am happy that the Agency for Strategic Initiatives chooses Bashkortostan for many of its pilot projects. If Bashkortostan promises to do something, it will do it. I wish everyone that your life path is thorny but successful. Go ahead. And we, the elders, will support you in everything,” said Radiy Khabirov, addressing the guys.
Svetlana Chupsheva noted that the Agency for Strategic Initiatives already has experience working with schoolchildren and youth to develop the circle movement and the National Technology Olympiad project.
“They aim to develop engineering and technological creativity from the school bench and teach children new computer technology and robotics skills. Bashkortostan is a region that always actively supports the Agency's projects, including pilot ones, related to the development of new technological solutions,” said the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
Young guys talked about their new projects and asked questions about the development of e-sports, new information technologies, and programming.
It should be noted that more than 40 thousand schoolchildren of the republic attend technical circles. In partnership with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, processes will be opened in all districts and cities. In the future, a network of 100 circles in programming, 100 in robotics for beginners, 30 in engineering and electronics, and 10 training sites for the profiles of the National Technology Olympiad will be created.
“You are at that very productive age when non-trivial ideas are generated when you offer the most daring, unimaginable solutions. I admire your enthusiasm. Go to your goal, and you will succeed. And we will try to create all the conditions for interesting creativity for you,” Svetlana Chupsheva expressed her wishes to the children.
