Ufa will host Cities Digital Transformation Forum with support of BRICS

Ufa will host the IV International Forum on the Development and Digital Transformation of Cities on July 26-28, within which the II All-Russian Youth Forum "Smart City: Our Future" will be held.

The event will bring together representatives of the government of the Russian Federation, federal authorities, state corporations, heads of the most significant industry associations and unions, representatives of government and business, the press service of the Republican government reported.

“We plan to invite participants from 54 foreign countries. The Forum will become an effective platform for exchanging experience, discussing the prospects for introducing artificial intelligence to manage urban infrastructure and possible difficulties and risks,” said Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.

The Forum will include plenary sessions, sessions, panel discussions, and an exhibition of advanced innovative digital and engineering solutions for a smart city. Leading Russian and international urban development and digital technologies experts will share their new knowledge and experience.

Chairman of the Russian part of the BRICS Business Council - President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce Sergey Katyrin noted that the era of digital technologies is fundamentally changing the principles of functioning of urban communities. Thousands of different digital solutions have already been implemented in the country’s regions, the primary purpose of which is to create comfortable conditions and convenient services for the life of Russians, he wrote in his greeting to the organizers and participants of the Forum.
