Radiy Khabirov met with LDPR Chairman Leonid Slutsky

Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky on June 2. During the meeting, issues of the activities of the Bashkortostan branch of the LDPR and the preparations for the upcoming electoral cycle were discussed.

Radiy Khabirov stressed that the party’s values are always based on patriotism and protecting national interests.

“We always find a common language on strategic issues of development of our country. There is a mighty regional branch in Bashkiria. It is not the first year it has had a faction in our State Assembly. We are moving together in the development of our country and the Republic,” the head of the Republic said.

Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the parliamentary committee on international affairs, arrived in Ufa on a working visit, during which meetings with party activists, thematic lectures at universities, and visits to several enterprises were planned.

“Bashkortostan has always been interesting to me. I have been here many times. The Republic has a colossal potential - industrial and agricultural. Even though several thousand external sanctions have been imposed on Russia, our national economy and the region’s economies are developing. Bashkortostan is a perfect example of this. The Republic is progressively moving forward,” said Leonid Slutsky.

The Head of the Republic noted that vital economic indicators steadily grow under challenging conditions.

Radiy Khabirov and Leonid Slutsky agreed to continue work to strengthen the institutions of state power and party dialogue.
