Job fair holding experience in Bashkiria is recognized as one of most successful in country

Bashkortostan summed up the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian Job Fair "PROFfest, Jobs in Russia, Time of Opportunities". Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova stressed that the experience of the Republic of Bashkortostan was recognized as one of the most successful in the country. The region was noted among the leaders regarding jobs presented at the fair.

“The All-Russian Job Fair is being held this year for the first time. The number of participants exceeded the planned figures. More than 420 thousand people visited the fair, and more than 14 thousand employers presented more than 330 thousand vacancies. Some applicants have already received invitations from enterprises,” said Tatyana Golikova.

17 regions were named leaders regarding the number of jobs provided, including Bashkortostan. Thus, at the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair, 260 enterprises and organizations of the republic offered 7.4 thousand vacancies to applicants, and 215 residents could find jobs in the proposed vacancies.

“Employers from almost all sectors of the economy presented their vacancies at the event: the oil and gas industry, construction, agriculture, information technology, education, healthcare, food industry, and others. Also, vacant jobs were offered to applicants during the event by enterprises of the military-industrial complex, which employed 20 workers. In total, according to the results of the fair, 215 residents of the republic found work. At the same time, the employment process in some organizations continues,” commented the Republican Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population, Lenara Ivanova.

According to the All-Russian Fair's regional stage results, the employment leaders were Sterlitamak, Belebey, and Oktyabrsky. In these cities, 141 people found work thanks to this large-scale event.
