Over 250,000 people took part in the electronic preliminary voting of United Russia, Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov said at an operational meeting of the republican government.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, from May 22 to May 28 of this year, residents of the entire republic could participate in the voting and determine candidates for subsequent nomination from the United Russia party as candidates for deputies of the State Assembly of the seventh conference.
Elections of deputies of the region's State Assembly and local self-government elections will be held in September 2023. The start of preliminary voting in the country was announced on March 1.
More than 250,000 voters is a very high figure, indicating interest in the elections, said Radiy Khabirov.
“We will sum up the results, and already on June 23, United Russia will nominate and approve candidates for participation in the elections to the State Assembly at the Republican conference,” the Head of Bashkiria summed up.
