Andrey Nazarov spoke about preparations for X Russia and Belarus Regions Forum

Bashkiria meets the X Russia and Belarus Regions Forum on June 26-28, Prime Minister of the Republican Government Andrei Nazarov recalled in his telegram channel.

The day before, a joint meeting of the Russian and Belarusian organizing committees was held in Ufa by Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Yury Vorobyov and Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Valery Belsky. As noted at the meeting, the events of the upcoming large-scale forum are in a high degree of readiness.

“The Jubilee Forum should highlight the milestones of dialogue and cooperation between the two country’s regions. We are preparing a rich business program,” Andrey Nazarov said.

Among the events are a meeting of the chairmen of the parliaments of Russia and Belarus with the heads of state authorities of the constituent entities of Russia, a plenary session on the topic “10th anniversary of the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus: results and prospects”, as well as nine breakout sessions.

Youth and sports holidays will be held during the forum, and an extensive cultural and exhibition program is planned. Leading performers and creative teams from Russia and Belarus will perform at the concerts "Slavianski Bazaar in the Heart of Eurasia", "Kurai-Fest", "Ethno-Night," and "Symphonic Night".

A special place in the forum program will be occupied by the festival of ethnic cultures, "Friendship Street", which will open on Lenin Street in the historical center of Ufa.

“New challenges pose serious questions for us but also open up new opportunities. Together with our Belarusian colleagues, we will look for additional development incentives and discuss in detail the most pressing issues of bilateral cooperation in a changing world. The Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov, noted that for Bashkortostan the upcoming forum is the main event of the year, and it is a great honor for us to host it. We will make all the necessary efforts and hold it at the highest level,” said Andrey Nazarov.
