Head of Bashkiria met with Azerbaijan National Assembly delegation
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (National Assembly) parliamentary delegation on May 25. It is headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, a member of the working group of Azerbaijani-Russian inter-parliamentary relations, Sabir Kamal oglu Hajiyev.
The meeting participants considered the possibilities of developing cooperation between Bashkortostan and Azerbaijan, strengthening business, cultural and scientific ties. As Bashinform News Agency was informed in the press service of the Head of the Republic, Azerbaijan is one of the permanent foreign economic partners of the republic. Last year, trade increased by 85 percent to $92 million. Bashkir exports prevail in mutual exchange.
The delegation from Azerbaijan arrived in Ufa to participate in the XXXI International Specialized Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies". The large-scale event is held within the framework of the Russian Petrochemical Forum.
