The Chekmagushevsk Central District Hospital received a new electrosurgical apparatus, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria reported.
The supply of modern medical equipment became possible thanks to the program for the modernization of the primary link of the national Healthcare project, developed at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As explained in the department, the electrosurgical apparatus is used to cut soft tissues and stop bleeding.
Its main feature is the work with an electric current of high frequency. The patient does not experience any pain or discomfort as the procedure stimulates nerve endings without causing tissue damage. Wounds heal faster, do not leave scars, and are not accompanied by injuries or burns.
In addition, this method reduces the risk of infection, as high-frequency waves destroy all microbes.
“The new electrosurgical system can expand the capabilities of specialists in removing neoplasms of the skin and subcutaneous fat,” said Alina Latypova, chief physician of the Chekmagushevsky Hospital.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, a large-scale primary care modernization program is designed to ensure the availability and quality of primary health care by strengthening the material and technical base.
