The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, amended his decree regarding implementing the region's socially significant “Bashkir Longevity” project. The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information of the area.
Recall that the program “Bashkir Longevity. Tourism” was initiated by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov. The project “Bashkir longevity. Tourism” is designed until 2024.
“It is essential for us that even in retirement, representatives of our older generation live actively, interestingly, and richly,” the head of the region explained his decision earlier.
Now, thanks to the changes made to the program, elderly residents of the republic will be able to travel not only into Bashkiria but also visit Belarus. According to the document, "the organization of excursion tours lasting three days or more for citizens of the older generation to the Republic of Belarus" is provided.
In addition, this year, the number of participants in the program “Bashkir Longevity. Tourism” increased from 10,000 to 20,000 people, according to the decree of the Head of Bashkiria.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, on April 24, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, saw off the first tourists of the Bashkir-Belarusian longevity project at the Ufa airport.
“This year, we have expanded our Bashkir Longevity program for the older generation. We plan that 1.5-2 thousand of our pensioners and veterans will be able to see the sights of Belarus,” Khabirov wrote on his Telegram channel.
To implement the “Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity. Tourism” program in 2023, 19.9 million rubles were allocated, Bashinform News Agency informed earlier.
