Coordinating Council for information protection meeting was held in Ufa

Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov and Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District Igor Panshin held a meeting of the District Coordinating Council for Information Protection at the Republican Management Center.

On the agenda is compliance with legislation requirements in the field of information protection, development of human resources, and ensuring the safety of critical information infrastructure in state authorities and subordinate institutions. Radiy Khabirov, in his welcoming speech, noted the importance of improving the information policy in current conditions.

“Protection of state information resources and critical infrastructure is a strategic task. It is a matter of national security,” the head of the region emphasized. – The regional information protection council coordinates this work in Bashkortostan. Also, these tasks are successfully solved by the Central Administration of the Republic. It organizes the interaction between executive authorities and local self-government and accumulates all information flows. The principle of its work is in the transition from a point solution of individual problems to an integrated approach. The Central Administration of the Republic helps us to build a strategic vision of the prospects of the Republic.”

Pavel Maksyakov, Head of the Department of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control in the Volga Federal District, and Vladimir Khachinyan, Deputy Head of the Department, delivered keynote speeches. Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy, shared his experience of the republic in implementing information policy.

“The leadership of the state pays great attention to information security issues. Today we have identified important measures to solve the problems of ensuring information security at the regional level,” Igor Panshin summed up the meeting.
