More than 193 billion rubles are allocated for "Social Protection" program in Bashkiria

The Bashkiria Government considered updating the "Social Protection of the Population" program. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov recalled that this program is being implemented in three key areas: social support, social services, and prevention of family problems. The total financial support for the state program over six years will amount to more than 193 billion rubles.

“Last year, the republic managed to reduce the share of social orphanhood to 61.5%. This is an excellent indicator because the average for Russia is above 72%. 8.5 thousand families are in constant focus of the attention of specialists of family services in the region; they manage to bring about 90% of families out of the crisis of trouble. 86% of children placed in social shelters returned to their parents. For three years, the number of children left without parental care has decreased by 12%, or by 1.5 thousand people,” Andrey Nazarov announced, noting that at present more than 1 million residents of the republic are covered by social support measures, 450 thousand of which are senior citizens.

Lenara Ivanova, Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Bashkortostan, reported in more detail about the changes being made to the state program "Social Protection of the Population" at the meeting. According to the minister, the state program’s financial support will increase by over 1 billion rubles. The increase in the amount of funding for the state program will take place, among other things, by providing support measures to participants and families of participants in a special military operation.

Thus, funding for providing lump-sum payments to children of war will grow from 185 to 341 million rubles over the next three years, or by 84.3%. The funding for such a support measure as a monthly cash payment to labor veterans with a long work record will increase by 12%. Over the next three years, the volume of subsidies to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs that have entered into public-private partnership agreements to provide social services in the stationary form of social services will increase by 42% (from 30 to 102.7 million rubles).

Andrey Nazarov announced some federal innovations supporting the economy and the social sphere. Thus, on March 30, the government of the Russian Federation adopted a resolution according to which, within the framework of the federal project "Employment Assistance", an additional 2.5 billion rubles will be allocated to the free education program for citizens.

“The federal operator of the program is the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education. Its action is planned to cover about 46 thousand citizens. The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population needs to organize the interaction with the program operator and ensure the full participation of the republic,” the Prime Minister instructed.
