Russian State Duma deputy Pavel Kachkaev told Bashinform: “Regional development indicators are made up of several components. The most prominent factors are the availability of a raw material base: oil, gas, and other natural resources, and the production potential, formed mainly in the Soviet years. But these factors may not play their role if an effective management and economic development system is not built in the subject of the federation.
Rostov region, Moscow, Bashkiria, Tatarstan, and Chechnya became leaders in the Nezygar federal telegram channel report on the dynamics of regional development. This suggests that our republic has all the ingredients for successful growth. But the leading role belongs to an effective management system.
Among the tools created, I can name the "Investment Hours" held at all regional government levels: from the republic’s government to small municipalities. Here, investors - from large enterprises to private entrepreneurs and the self-employed, can discuss their projects with the authorities in a direct dialogue mode and learn about support measures and possible problematic issues that often lie in the legal plane. It is in the format of "Investment Hours" that you can quickly and effectively resolve all issues.
Another effective tool for developing the economy is the creation of industrial parks and technology parks, priority development areas, and special economic zones. Here, those who wish to build or create new industries receive a convenient ready-made infrastructure and tax benefits.
As far as I know, Bashkiria has 12 industrial parks, 18 technology parks, five priority development areas, and the Alga special economic zone. For the second year, the latter becomes the most dynamically developing among the industrial-production type SEZs. Now there are 12 residents in the Alga SEZ with a total investment of more than 42 billion rubles, thanks to which more than 2,000 new jobs will be created. This is a very significant contribution to the development of actual production.
The effectiveness of regional authorities can also be judged by the level of support in the region for participants in an extraordinary military operation and their families. In contrast, the support measures developed by the regional government are qualitatively different from others.
All these and many other factors were considered by experts when preparing the rating of economic adaptability of Russian regions.”
