State Assembly of Bashkiria Chairman: "Republic’s leadership deserves highest praise"

State Assembly of Bashkiria Chairman, Konstantin Tolkachev, commenting on the report on the activities of the Republican Government in 2022, noted that the republic successfully coped with the challenges of the time and continued to demonstrate high economic performance, despite the complex international situation and restrictions.

“In the past year, our country has been under unprecedented pressure: sanctions, freezing of funds, political persecution, illegal bans against our citizens, and much more. Under these conditions, the Republican Government needed to act quickly and efficiently, to stabilize the situation, primarily in the economy, which made it possible to fulfill all social obligations to the population. The State Assembly actively joined this work. Together with the Government, we quickly passed more than 20 laws to support the economy in the face of sanctions. Today we heard a detailed report on the results of the Government's large, multifaceted, and hard work to develop the region in difficult geopolitical and economic conditions. I think no one doubts that they deserve the highest rating. Practically all directions received positive dynamics. Despite all the difficulties, the republic continues to develop, economic ties are being reconfigured, new markets are opening up, and life expectancy is growing,” said Konstantin Tolkachev.

The speaker stressed that the region's leadership needs to make every effort to implement large infrastructure projects.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, expressed his readiness to solve the most critical tasks scheduled for 2023 and thanked all factions of the State Assembly of the republic for their responsible position.
