Radiy Khabirov outlined social policy main indicator of Bashkiria
The Head of Bashkortostan, at a meeting of the State Assembly, said that the economic successes make it possible to ensure the stable development of the social sphere.
“I have singled out the primary indicator of the quality of our social policy. This is life expectancy. Nothing so vividly reflects the well-being of people, the public mood, and the standard of living as this indicator. Our life expectancy has risen to a record 73 years. Over the past three years, we have increased from 50th place in the country to 23rd. And in the Volga Federal District - from the 11th to the third. For the first time, the Republic made a breakthrough for 3.5 years at once! This is a significant result of our joint work.
At the same time, I understand that people expect more from us today. We are still imperfect in many respects. We need further comprehensive work in all areas that determine improving the quality of life in the Republic,” said Radiy Khabirov.
According to him, the critical area is healthcare.
“Now, we are proud to say that there has never been such a volume of construction of medical institutions. Designing and construction of 16 facilities is underway,” the head of the region noted.
The Head of the Republic stressed that Bashkortostan is changing, and our large cities and villages are getting prettier. Many squares, parks, and central streets become natural centers of attraction.
“Last year alone, we landscaped 138 public areas and implemented 8 winning projects of the federal competition to create a comfortable urban environment. Our projects in Beloretsk and Zilair were highly appreciated at the international and all-Russian levels.
2023 will pass under the sign of the Year of beneficial deeds for the small motherland. Thousands of natives of the Republic, I am sure, will gladly contribute to this vital work,” Radiy Khabirov emphasized.
