“At the beginning of 2022, a new situation has developed without analogs in our history. We are under unprecedented sanctions pressure. We steadfastly held on and built new ties and logistics. Together we solved the tasks assigned to us within the framework of a special military operation, partial mobilization, and assistance to new Russian regions. We were engaged in social support for SMO participants and their families,” said Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, in his speech today at a meeting of the State Assembly. A Bashinform News Agency correspondent from the scene reported this. Recall that today the deputies hear the report of the republic’s government.
“Our first task was to keep the economy going. This is the basis for the development of the republic and the fulfillment of social obligations.
The index of industrial production at the end of the year amounted to 102.7%, above the national average. For two years in a row, the republic has been recognized as the best among the regions in rating the effectiveness of the implementation of industrial policy. We are successfully implementing the cluster model as a pilot region of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and have become leaders in the number of clusters. For the second time in a row, the Alga Special Economic Zone has been recognized as the most dynamically developing in the country.
Our farmers have harvested a record grain crop - 5 million tons. The volume of gross agricultural output increased by 28.1%.
The republic has achieved a historical maximum in housing commissioning - 3 million square meters and entered the top ten regions (7th place in the Russian Federation),” said Radiy Khabirov.
The head of the region noted that the republic was seriously engaged in developing the foreign economic sector. We spent most of 2022 traveling. We needed to strengthen cooperation with our traditional and new partners, especially with Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Uzbekistan. Thanks to such visits and active work, our foreign trade turnover with these countries is growing. With Turkey - at 37.6%, Kazakhstan - at 10.1%, Belarus - at 12.3%, and Uzbekistan - at 32.6%.
