Roads repair plan was discussed at "Transport Hour" in Bashkortostan

In the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, spent another “Transport Hour”. On the agenda are issues of improving the quality and safety of the road network in the region.

The Head of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic, Alexander Klebanov, reported on implementing the road repair program, launched at the Head of the Republic initiative in 2023 with a budget of 4 billion rubles. The plans for 2023 include putting in order 19 roads with a total length of 218.5 km and 16 streets of settlements with a distance of 234 km.

The largest project in this area is the modernization of 47 km of the Sibay-Akyar highway in the Baimak and Khaibullinsky districts. In 2023, they plan to upgrade 24 km of the route and complete the work in 2024. In total, 584 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes. Another 343 million will be given for the repair of sections of the Sterlitamak-Raevsky highway with a length of 16 km, the restoration of which has been carried out for only 20 years.

In addition, 210 million rubles will be allocated to put order the Novosaraevo-Glukhovskaya highway in the Belebeevsky district, 195 million rubles - to the Kuraskovo-Nurlino-Arslanovo highway in the Ufimsky district, 174 million rubles - to the Yavgildino-Shchuchye lake highway in the Askinsky district, 162 million rubles - for the Chetyrman-Verkhniy Chat section in the Yanaulsky district, and 159 million rubles - for the Meshchegarovo-Turnali-Mursalimkino road in the Salavatsky district.

The issues also included completing the 40 km Birsk-Tastuba-Satka highway reconstruction and repairing access roads to garden associations and small settlements.

Elena Prochakovskaya, Head of the Office of the Head of Bashkortostan for Social Communications, noted that all these sites are on the top lines of the rating of requests in social networks.

The Head of the region instructed to present the approved list at an operational meeting at the end of April so that residents can familiarize themselves with it.

“We have received a well-developed work plan for 2023, which covers 20 municipalities. This is an important story for our people. The next task is to form a list of roads we will repair in 2024,” Radiy Khabirov emphasized.
