

According to the results of nine months of 2022, in the ranking of million-plus cities, Ufa hit the top of the volume of shipped products, 2nd in terms of migration population growth (yielding to Krasnodar in this indicator), and 4th in housing commissioning and catering turnover. This was announced by Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev, speaking with a report on the results of the city’s development in 2022 to the deputies of the City Council.
“In general, according to the totality of statistical indicators among million-plus cities, not counting Moscow and St. Petersburg, Ufa ranks 2nd. This result can be improved. Comprehensive programs have been developed for the comprehensive transformation of the city,” said the city manager of the Bashkir capital.
Including much work is being done in preparation for celebrating the 450th anniversary of Ufa in 2024.
“It will be a federal event. There is very little time left, and we go to the finish line. The key for us in preparing for the anniversary is the legacy that will remain for the people of Ufa after celebrating the 450th anniversary. Everything that is done in the city is for the residents of Ufa. And the result of all these transformations will be an improvement in the quality of life of Ufa residents,” said Ratmir Mavliev.
