Radiy Khabirov discussed "Northern Cupids" cartoon promotion at federal level

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with Alexander Ryazantsev, Director General of the KARO cinema network, in Ufa, on January 26. The meeting was also attended by the creative team of the Mukha animation studio, headed by director Artur Abdrakhmanov.

The Head of the region noted that Mukha is completing work on the full-length animated film "Northern Cupids". The parties discussed the prospects for its promotion at the Russian box office.

The cartoon was created by the Ufa studio Mukha and the film studio "Bashkortostan" with the support of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov. In the center of the story is the story of the Bashkirs, who become active participants in two wars: the Russian-Swedish war of 1788 and the Patriotic war of 1812. The French called the Bashkir horsemen armed with bows and arrows "Northern Cupids", comparing them with the ancient Roman deity for their bow mastery.

“Our cinema is actively developing. Not so long ago, paintings based on the works of Mustai Karim "Sister" and "Taganka Squadron", Bulat Yusupov's national trilogy "Babich", "The First Republic" and "The Poet's Diary" were released. And the cartoon "Northern Cupids" is especially relevant. Much of it fits into the outline of the events taking place. I am sure he will serve Russia in educating the younger generation. We want this tape to become a real cultural event in our country,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Alexander Ryazantsev presented several options for promoting the cartoon at the federal level. In particular, on January 29, the "Northern Cupids" pre-premiere screening will take place at the Moscow Cinema House.

Radiy Khabirov instructed the republican Ministry of Culture to prepare proposals for promoting the film in the Republic and the country.
