Radiy Khabirov talked about Bashkortostan and Gomel region joint projects

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, posted on social media details of his trip to Belarus. As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the official delegation of the republic was there on a visit.

“Strong economic relations have developed between Bashkortostan and the Gomel region of Belarus. Our regions have great mutual interest, and we are developing cooperation that allows our industrial enterprises to complement each other”, said Radiy Khabirov.

Chairman of the Gomel Executive Committee Ivan Krupko was visiting our republic in October 2022. The result was the signing of several necessary long-term contracts in industry and agriculture for 1.7 billion rubles. Today, according to the Head of Bashkiria, new areas of cooperation are being worked out, and new contracts are being concluded. In particular, with the largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery Gomselmash, and the Mozyr Machine-Building Plant.

“It is not only about procurement. We are focused on deep industrial cooperation. We are interested in the localization of the production of Belarusian equipment. We agree on the supply of products from our chemical and petrochemical enterprises to plants in the Gomel region”, said Radiy Khabirov.

“In the summer, during the forum of the regions of Belarus and Russia, we will sign a document that will consolidate our cooperation”, the Head of the Republic summed up.
