For 11 months of 2022 in Bashkiria, the volume of paid services to the population in the tourism sector amounted to 12.6 billion rubles. — 26.3% higher than in January-November 2021. According to this indicator, the republic ranks 3rd among the subjects of the Volga Federal District and 13th in the Russian Federation, said Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov. At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Bashkiria, the results of the work of the tourism industry were discussed.
According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development Airat Fakhretdinov, last year, within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry", a pilot program of school tourism for pupils of 5-9 grades was implemented for the first time, which more than 11 thousand schoolchildren participated. The program involved 10 republican tour operators.
Regarding allocated quotas, Bashkortostan took 2nd place out of 18 pilot regions of Russia, with allocated funds of 77.7 million rubles, of which 55.5 million are federal funds. For 2023, 188.7 million rubles of subsidies are expected for these purposes.
