297 young and social entrepreneurs received business development grants in Bashkiria

297 young and social entrepreneurs received state support through business development grants in Bashkiria in 2022. Their total amount was 142.5 million rubles, of which 131.8 million came from the federal budget.

147 social enterprises received grants of 71.4 million rubles and invested their funds according to the conditions. Their total amount was 35.8 million rubles.

The republic took first place among the regions of the Russian Federation in terms of the number of funds raised to support start-up entrepreneurs and socially significant businesses, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported,

Most of the beneficiaries are employed in education (21%), health and social services (19%), trade (13%), culture, sports, leisure and entertainment (10%), hairdressing and beauty salons (5%), physical culture and health-improving activities (4%).

133 grants totaling 63.1 million rubles were provided to young entrepreneurs of the republic on the terms of co-financing. The grant recipients invested 28.3 million rubles of their funds in the projects.

Grants issued to start-up business people are aimed at implementing projects in the field of trade (16.5%), manufacturing (13.5%), restaurant activities and food delivery services (8.3%), and others.

11 SMEs and six self-employed people received subsidies for their work in handicrafts and folk arts and crafts. 8 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for these purposes.

In 2023, entrepreneurs of Bashkiria will also receive support. About 209.4 million rubles are provided for these purposes from the federal and regional budgets.

The Ministry of Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Bashkortostan recalled that the condition for obtaining a grant for young and social entrepreneurs is training under special programs of "The Agency of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" or JSC "Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises".
