Vladimir Putin announced inter-university campus construction start in Ufa
In the next ten years, 25 new university campuses with the most modern conditions for study and scientific activity should be created in Russia. This was announced by Vladimir Putin today at a meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
“More than a million square meters of buildings and laboratories will be built, where over 25,000 students will study and work. These campuses will become points of attraction for talented children from all over the country, as well as centers for the development of science and the economy of the region. The first eight projects have already started: Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, and Tomsk. We need to speed up this work,” Vladimir Putin said.
Recall that the day before, it became known that preparatory stages for the start of construction of a student campus were completed in Ufa. The campus will be built in two phases. The first, IQ-Park, is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2023. The second stage - by 2026, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
The concession agreement for the construction and subsequent operation of the inter-university student campus was signed by the Etalon group and the government of Bashkiria.
