Russian civil aviation 100th-anniversary medal established by President
The date will be celebrated on February 9, 2023 - this day, when a decree was issued on the creation of the Council for Civil Aviation under the Main Directorate of the Workers and Peasants Red Air Fleet, is considered the official date of birth of Soviet aviation.
The President of the Russian Federation established the creation of jubilee medal for 100 Years of Russian Civil Aviation. The corresponding Decree was published on November 17.
The front side of the medal depicts an MC-21 passenger plane taking off.
The medal will be awarded to employees of the industry, state and municipal employees, employees of government and self-government bodies, and other people who have contributed to the development of civil aviation.
