Radiy Khabirov met with Ulyanovsk Region Governor Alexey Russkikh

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with the Ulyanovsk Region Governor Alexey Russkikh on October 12. The strengthening of cooperation and the implementation of promising joint projects was discussed.

Radiy Khabirov thanked the delegation of the Ulyanovsk region, which took part in the events in honor of Republic Day. Representatives of the region's business community also visited several industrial enterprises in Ufa and Sterlitamak.

“The Ulyanovsk region is an exciting partner for the republic,” said Radiy Khabirov. “We have already established cooperation in various industries, I believe we can develop and increase this cooperation.”

The Head of Bashkortostan highly appreciated the efficiency of the special economic zones of the Ulyanovsk region and the attraction of investments in the economy. He also invited colleagues to participate in creating the Eurasian Economic Center in the republic and implementing interregional tourism projects.

The Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region expressed interest in finding new areas of cooperation.

“Bashkortostan is a unique region with rich nature, serious economic potential, and wonderful people,” said Alexei Russkikh. "We have brought representatives of 15 regional enterprises to you and have already outlined specific plans for interaction with the republican business. The companies of the Ulyanovsk region and Bashkortostan have a lot to learn from each other, there is an interest in cooperation, including in the field of import substitution.”

Alexey Russkikh also invited the republican delegation to visit the Ulyanovsk region. Radiy Khabirov instructed the government of Bashkortostan to organize regular working meetings with the departments of the Ulyanovsk region and form a roadmap for the development of cooperation.
