

50 representatives of 30 enterprises from various economic sectors of Bashkortostan went to Istanbul.
Within two days, republican enterprises reached agreements on the supply of bitumen and diesel fuel, fuel wood pellets and lumber, as well as grain: buckwheat, oatmeal, pearl barley, barley and millet. In addition, exporters of the republic received requests for valves and plastic products. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of Bashkortostan.
In January-June 2022, the trade turnover of Bashkiria with Turkey increased by 60% compared to the first half of 2021, while exports increased by 68.5%, and imports - by 5.6%.
Turkey is in 7th place in the total volume of trade turnover of Bashkortostan in 2022, among 109 trading partners with a share of 4.9%.
