Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, during negotiations with Prime Minister of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin, noted the positive contribution of Bashkortostan to the development of relations between the two countries.
“We are developing joint production of agricultural, passenger and special equipment. In particular, an important investment project has been launched in Bashkortostan - the construction of an enterprise producing machine and equipment for post-harvest grain processing. Also, a striking example of cooperation is the cooperation of automakers. Now significant industrial cooperation between Belarusian manufacturers of auto components and KamAZ PJSC is being built with a clear interaction algorithm. Joint programs for the production of automotive components, assemblies, and microelectronics are being implemented,” said Roman Golovchenko.
The head of the Belarusian government noted the development of mutual cooperation between the two countries, which makes it possible to withstand external pressure from unfriendly states. Since the beginning of 2022, the volume of mutual trade has increased by more than 12% compared to the same period in 2021.
By the end of 2022, mutual trade could reach about $45 billion. Joint productions make it possible to avoid import dependence, and create jobs and a basis for sustainable innovative development of the economies of the two countries.
A joint production of agricultural and passenger equipment, automotive components, and microelectronics is being developed. Scientific and technical cooperation is developing. An intergovernmental agreement was signed on the development of certain types of cargo transportation through transport corridors.
