More than 1,200 ambulances will be delivered to the regions of Russia. The order on their distribution among the subjects was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
6 billion rubles are allocated for the purchase of ambulances. With this money, 1,254 cars will be purchased for rural settlements, including urban-type settlements and small towns, the press service of the federal Cabinet reported. The supply of ambulances to the regions will be provided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The President instructed the government to update the fleet of ambulances during 2021–2024 following the Address to the Federal Assembly in 2021. At the same time, at least 5,000 ambulances for rural settlements should be purchased annually at the expense of the federal budget in 2021–2023. All equipment must be Russian-made.
The medical vehicle fleet is regularly updated in Bashkiria. This week, the Head of the Bashkortostan handed over to representatives of medical institutions the keys to cars for transporting patients with limited mobility and providing primary health care. New equipment was purchased under the regional program for the modernization of primary health care within the framework of the national project of the same name.
