Vladimir Savichev: "New Deputy Prime Minister will be able to effectively resolve import substitution issues"

“Today, our country is faced with the need to replace many technological processes in various industries, which places new requirements on the level of interaction between directorates of enterprises, science, and representatives of all branches of government,” said Vladimir Savichev, director of the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. “In this regard, I consider the appointment of Alexander Sheldyaev as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan for scientific and technological development quite justified. Working as the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander Sheldyaev showed good professional results. It is no coincidence that for two years in a row Bashkortostan has been ranked first in Russia in terms of the effectiveness of the industrial policy. The new Deputy Prime Minister should focus on the development of innovative technologies and industry, the integration of science, industry, and business, and interaction with the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center, which is effectively operating in the region. In my opinion, here we can achieve success.”
