Radiy Khabirov took part in Russia Prosecutor-General's Office meeting on equity holders' rights protection

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took part via videoconference in an interdepartmental meeting of the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia on the rights restitution of participants in shared-equity construction on August 30.

During the discussion, they noted the joint work of prosecutors, authorized bodies, and organizations, which over the past two years has allowed resolving the situation in relation to more than 1.8 thousand problematic shared-equity construction projects in the country. Since the beginning of 2022, 7,000 officials and legal entities have been brought to various types of liability. 34 criminal cases were opened based on the materials of the prosecutor's checks. The measures taken contributed to the resolution of problematic situations with 229 long-term construction projects About 17.3 thousand people received new housing or compensation payments.

At the same time, it was noted at the meeting that it is necessary to increase the level of control over developers, prevent violations of the deadlines for the construction of problematic facilities, and take comprehensive measures to restore the violated rights of equity holders.

It should be noted that in Bashkortostan, as of August 30, 2022, there are 80 “long-term construction projects” in the unified register of problematic facilities, for which it is necessary to restore the rights of 3.6 thousand people. To build houses and pay compensation to affected residents, the republic closely cooperates with the federal Fund for the Development of Territories. In total, the Fund's Supervisory Board made decisions regarding 77 problematic objects in the region. With the support of the Foundation, the rights of almost 3,000 residents of Bashkortostan were restored. The amount of compensation was about 7 billion rubles.
