First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Azat Kadyrov arrived in Bashkiria as part of a working visit.
The first point was the complex of structures for the rowing slalom under construction. It will be located in the southern part of Lake Teploe, where there are ideal conditions for construction in all respects.
The complex will include start and finish pools, and a competitive training channel 250 meters long and 1.75 meters deep. The project also provides for the construction of buildings with auxiliary facilities, a warehouse, an access road, and bank protection with a length of 300 meters. The effect of seething water - like on a mountain river, will be created with the help of hydraulic structures. The rowing canal will connect Lake Teploe with the Ufa River.
“The first sports facility visited by Azat Kadyrov was rowing slalom, the construction of which began this year. The builders faced certain difficulties due to heavy rainfall at the initial stage in May. However now they are actively reducing the backlog from the schedule,” the Minister of Sports RB Ruslan Khabibov commented.
