Bashkortostan official delegation is preparing to visit Iran

Bashkortostan is preparing a visit of its official delegation to Iran, Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov reports.

According to him, the ground for the visit has already been prepared - several bilateral meetings have been held.

“We plan to expand the range of goods for export. We are also working on the issue of sending an employee of the ministry to Iran, who will work with the Russian trade mission and help enterprises of the two republics interact effectively. Moreover, the field for work (without exaggeration) is huge: the oil and gas industry, agriculture, the financial sector, the humanitarian sphere, education, science, culture, industry,” Andrey Nazarov shared the plans.

According to Prime Minister RB, Iran is interested in the development of our port.

Andrey Nazarov also stressed the fact that the whole world's attention was drawn to the visit of Vladimir Putin to Iran. Compared to 2020, trade between the countries increased by 6.7 times. The Russian leader highly appreciated the talks with the President of Iran.

“We should not belittle the role of Tehran in the international arena. For example, in the last ten years alone, the country has taken 19th place in terms of nanotechnologies development, ahead of not only Muslim countries, but also Great Britain, Germany, and France. Space, biotechnology, and the defense industry are on the rise. Our countries have plans to bring bilateral cooperation to a fundamentally new level. An interstate agreement is being prepared,” the Prime Minister said.
