The Head of Bashkiria recalled at a briefing session of the government that workers of the sea and river fleet had celebrated their professional holiday on July 3.
“Congratulations! If we go out now and look at the Belaya River, we will see steamboats riding. This is a nice picture, which evokes some nostalgia. We must try to make the Belaya River a large navigable river again, to enjoy and fulfill infrastructure tasks,” Radiy Khabirov said.
At one time, Radiy Khabirov did everything possible to bring the Bashkir River Shipping Company out of bankruptcy (whose joint and several debtor was the shipyard as a subsidiary) and preserve the facilities and resources of these enterprises. Two years ago, the arbitration court approved a settlement agreement between the Bashkir River Shipping Company and creditors, according to the plan of the Ministry of Land Property of Bashkiria.
In navigation 2022, 13 motor ships will moor to the Ufa pier, including the four-deck Alexander Pushkin and other cruise ships.
