Bashkiria enterprises presented import-substituting products at Congress in Ufa

Before the start of the plenary session of the international scientific and practical congress "Cooperation of Enterprises in New Economic Environment", the Head of Bashkortostan today visited an exhibition, which demonstrated investment import-substituting projects in the production chains of the furniture, aviation, machine-building, industrial and agro-industrial clusters of the republic.

One of the most technologically advanced will be the cluster of unmanned aircraft, the anchor enterprise of which is the Geoscan group of companies. It is planned to organize new production facilities for the production of components and assemblies, as well as create the appropriate infrastructure (data center, test site, charging stations, logistics routes) in the new cluster. According to plans, 5,000 new jobs will be created in it.

In addition to Geoscan, the new cluster will include Hover Design Bureau, a manufacturer of unmanned flying taxi drones, Aeroglobe LLC, a manufacturer of heavy drones and agricultural drones, the Zhukovsky National Research Center, and Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

Radiy Khabirov instructed to prepare and allocate a separate site for drones from June 1.

The enterprises of the light industry cluster and the first furniture cluster in Russia, which was created in Bashkortostan, presented their products to the head of the republic at the exhibition.

Radiy Khabirov inquired about the work of furniture cluster enterprises in the new conditions of sanctions pressure. According to Ramil Mamlev, head of the Korona enterprise in Tuimazy, the withdrawal of Ikea from the Russian market freed up a large niche for domestic furniture manufacturers, and it was immediately occupied by local enterprises.

Recall that the first furniture industrial cluster was created at the Tuimazy company Korona. It brought together 11 enterprises - manufacturers of upholstered furniture, fittings, and components for its manufacture. Also, the project participants included the Corporation for the Development of Bashkortostan, the industrial park "PromCentre", the Ufa forest technical school, and an enterprise from Tatarstan.

Members of the furniture cluster plan to implement projects worth 775 million rubles. In the next 3-4 years, more than 1,200 people will work at the enterprises of the cluster.

“Bashkortostan relies on the development of industrial clusters amid challenges facing our economy. Machine-building, industrial and agro-industrial clusters are in the process of creation. Our largest enterprises are ready to participate in them,” Radiy Khabirov said.

Today there are 18 technoparks and 12 industrial parks registered in Bashkortostan. The furniture cluster is successfully operating. Eight more clusters are in the process of creation: aviation, machine-building, industrial, agro-industrial, unmanned aircraft cluster, radio electronics cluster, machine tool building, and light industry. 168 residents operate in the existing industrial parks and technology parks, the total investment of which amounted to more than 44 billion rubles. Over 32 thousand jobs have already been created. Park occupancy averages over 90%.
