The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, on his social media, spoke about a working meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rowing Slalom Federation, Sergey Lavrov, at which, among other things, the future of the Ufa Rowing Slalom Complex was discussed.
“Work at the facility has already begun, we will commission it in December 2023. We are entering the design phase of the second phase, which we plan to complete in 2024. A unique place was chosen - Lake Teploye in Inors, which, thanks to the water supply from the thermal power plant, does not freeze in winter. This means that athletes can train here all year round. We will continue construction at all costs - we promised our residents and athletes this very necessary object, and we will definitely complete it. At the same time, we will improve the area around the lake, make a good walking area for children and adults here”, Radiy Khabirov posted.
The Head of Bashkiria presented the Russian Foreign Minister with a photo in which student Sergey Lavrov is rafting down the Belaya River.
