“Tomorrow in Tashkent we will hold a presentation of the investment and economic potential of Bashkortostan, we plan to conclude a number of agreements and contracts. The Head of Bashkortostan invited the chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Murat Kamalov to the celebration of the 450th anniversary of Ufa in 2024.

The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan supported the initiative of the Bashkortostan side to create a permanent interregional working group that would contribute to the expansion of business contacts between the republics.

During the talks, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in industry, agriculture, tourism and culture. “We want to open the opportunities of Karakalpakstan for the economy and business of our republic. They are very interesting to us. This includes cooperation in the field of agricultural production: the purchase of products, and the exchange of scientific achievements in the agricultural industry. We are interested in the achievements of Uzbekistan in the production of textiles since we are developing the light industry in Bashkortostan and are extremely interested in high-quality raw materials. We are also ready to strengthen cooperation between universities and scientific institutions, and humanitarian and cultural relations. Our meeting today is the first step. We agreed to create a permanent working group that will resolve all organizational issues.
