Bashkiria and Belarus establish cooperation in tourism

Bashkiria and Belarus will exchange tourists. Thus, the first promotional tours to Belarus for adults and children are scheduled for May 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RB reported. The signing of an agreement on cooperation between the "Tourism Development Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan" and the State Institution "National Tourism Agency" of the Republic of Belarus is expected.

“It is important for us to develop cooperation with foreign partners in all areas, including tourism. Our republic has large tourism resources. Bashkortostan is called the "second Switzerland" with good reason,” the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of Bashkiria Margarita Bolycheva stressed.

“The Republic of Belarus is one of the leaders in the organization of ethnic tourism and agro-tourism, and also has a great historical heritage. Take the Brest Fortress alone. The outlined agreements contribute to the development of bilateral affordable tourism for adults and children,” Konstantin Klimin, representative of the non-profit Congress-Bureau of Bashkortostan “Office Group” in the Republic of Belarus said.
