On March 29, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a meeting of the operational headquarters to ensure the socio-economic development of the region at the Republic Management Center. The agenda includes the situation in the consumer market, measures to prevent unreasonable price increases, and other topical issues.
Speaking about measures to ensure the availability of food products in the republic, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that food stocks in warehouses were sufficient.
“The rush in grocery stores is gradually subsiding,” the Deputy Prime Minister said. “Recently, sugar factories have shipped 8.8 thousand tons of products to customers. At the same time, there is sufficient stock in the warehouses. We switched to the normal mode of shipment of goods to stores.”
The Minister of Agriculture of the republic said that additional subsidies were sent from the federal budget for processing enterprises in the region, which kept selling prices for their products at the same level. Thus, 62 million rubles were received by bakeries and 71 million rubles by milk processors.
Minister of Trade and Services of the region Aleksey Gusev reported that daily monitoring of retail chains made it possible to quickly identify the situation in the main groups of socially significant goods.
The Head of Bashkortostan instructed not to reduce the number of inspections of retail chains for the presence of high-demand goods and to control pricing issues.
Andrey Khomyakov, Chief of the Bashkortostan Federal Antimonopoly Service, reported on the measures taken to prevent unreasonable price increases for the main types of socially important food products.
Radiy Khabirov instructed the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan to promptly respond to the justified claims of the FAS against the region's sugar factories and assist them in taking comprehensive measures to eliminate violations.
“I remind you that this year the republic is preparing additional sown areas for sugar beets - we plan to increase them from 36 to 47 thousand hectares,” Radiy Khabirov said. “According to the calculations of our farmers, this will be enough to load sugar factories and ensure uninterrupted supplies to retail chains.”
Chairperson of the State Committee RB on Tariffs Svetlana Burdyuk said that the region would not increase the cost of utilities unscheduled. In the first half of 2022, tariffs remained at the level of the previous year. The decision on the planned indexation of tariffs since July 1, 2022, was made at the federal level at the end of 2021. According to the Chairperson, the average index for the entire set of public services from the beginning of the second half of the year will reach 4.4% in the republic.
