Radiy Khabirov spoke about measures taken in Bashkiria to combat COVID-19

The healthcare system of Bashkortostan is able to hospitalize everyone who needs it, despite the increase in cases of coronavirus. The potential of the republic is up to 10 thousand COVID beds. As of February 2, 2,300 beds have been deployed in the region. In February, a hospital in Tuymazy will be launched, and the construction of a hospital in Sibay continues. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, wrote about this on his social media.

"The most important thing we are working on is to enable people to receive primary care. Therefore, we have increased the opening hours of polyclinics  - now, they are open from 7.30 am to 10.00 pm. PCR tests can be taken until 7.30 pm. Due to the huge flow in clinics, physicians are, of course, overloaded. Graduate students of medical colleges and Bashkir State Medical University, medical residents, help the doctors. Many thanks to the guys, teachers, and management of educational institutions," the Head of the Republic noted.

In Bashkiria, the number of operators of the Situational Anti-COVID Center has also been increased from 14 to 124. It is open daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, you can call: 8 (347) 218-19-19.

"At the same time, I admit that even so many operators do not have time to receive all calls. We will continue to increase their number. In addition, there is a universal number of the health care system 122 in Bashkortostan, which can also be used to call our Situational Center and make an appointment or call in a doctor. Volunteer centers are also deployed. One of them, the headquarters of United Russia "Our Care", receives calls on 8-800-201-89-03. The Head of the Region also urged the enterprises' management, where possible, to transfer employees to remote work.
