Bashkiria State Assembly Deputies supported federal bill on QR codes mandatory introduction

Today at the next plenary session, deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan supported a federal bill on the mandatory introduction of QR codes in Russia. It was supported by the deputies of the United Russia faction, the deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and A Just Russia voted against it.

At the same time, one of the young deputies of the State Assembly of the republic, Yakov Kugubaev, who is a member of the United Russia faction, refused to support this version of the federal bill since he believes that it requires revision and additional discussions.

At the same time, the deputy stressed that he fully and completely supported vaccination, he was vaccinated himself, and all his relatives were vaccinated.

The Russian government has submitted to the State Duma two projects on the mandatory use of QR codes. So, according to the documents, citizens will be able to visit places of public events, cultural institutions, catering, and retail facilities if they provide a QR code on vaccination or a document confirming that a person had a previous illness of COVID-19 or has a medical exemption. According to the second initiative, QR codes are being introduced in rail and air transport for intercity and international transport.

At the same time, until February, it will be possible to present a negative PCR test, and after February 1, only citizens with a medical exemption will have such an opportunity.

The State Duma did not immediately consider government bills on QR codes and sent them to collect feedback and suggestions in the regions, to the Public and Accounts Chambers, as well as to the Federation Council.
