Radiy Khabirov: vaccination rate has increased tenfold in Bashkiria; up to 20 thousand people are vaccinated per day

"The main logic is that it is impossible to enter most institutions without a vaccination certificate. This is the essence of all restrictive measures. This applies to cultural institutions, sports, catering establishments, and many other spheres of life," the Head of the Republic stated.

Radiy Khabirov said that just today, new restrictions came into force. Since November 10, it is impossible to visit shops and other permanent trade facilities with a trading floor area of ​​1,000 sq. m. and more without a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, a certificate of the previous coronavirus illness within six months, or a certificate of medical contraindications to vaccination, provided along with a negative laboratory PCR test for COVID-19. Since October 27, certificates of a negative PCR test alone are not enough to visit trade facilities in the republic.

"By the way, this gives quite tangible results. Since we introduced restrictive measures, we have increased the rate of vaccination. If earlier we vaccinated only 2 thousand people a day with the first dose, now - up to 20 thousand a day.

The non-working days were also very efficient. It seems to me that we have managed to break the epidemiological chains. What do we see? The first is a decrease in morbidity. The second is a decrease in mortality from coronavirus. Moreover, most importantly, the burden on the health care system has become less," Radiy Khabirov explained.

According to the Head of the Republic, autumn in terms of coronavirus has become the most challenging for the entire period of the pandemic. Thus, the number of beds for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection during this period reached 8.5 thousand. Now there are 6 thousand beds. All infectious department beds are equipped with oxygen; there is the necessary equipment, etc.

The Head of the Region also believes that the republic's health care system is working quite vigorously to combat coronavirus.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the republic as of November 10 is 92,864. During the day, 676 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed. A total of 81,837 people recovered, of which 671 - over the past day.

Mass vaccination against coronavirus continues in Bashkortostan. The region received 2,282,558 doses of domestic vaccines. As of November 10, 1,762,728 people were vaccinated with the first dose. 1,444,250 people completed vaccination. This is respectively 71 and 58.1 percent of the population subject to vaccination.
