Russian President instructs regions to take measures to combat coronavirus

The list of instructions of the head of state notes that the decision to take these measures remains within the competence of the regional authorities. The document was published on the Kremlin website.

Vladimir Putin recommended to the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to restrict the work of catering establishments at night and prohibit the holding of mass entertainment events - from 23.00 to 06.00.

It is also noted that the governors and heads of enterprises should provide employees with two payable days off for vaccination. It is recommended that employees over 60 years of age and those with chronic diseases be transferred to a remote work mode. Citizens who are not vaccinated against coronavirus infection over the age of 60 are encouraged to go into self-isolation.

Some organizations should be accessed only with the presentation of documents on vaccination or previous coronavirus illness. The authorities of the constituent entity of the country decide which institutions this applies to.
