The plans include the introduction of QR codes and certificates, strict adherence to the mask regime. After a visit to the COVID hospital, the Head of the Republic held a meeting of the emergency operations center on combatting coronavirus.
Recently, the pace of the vaccination campaign has slowed down in Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov said. "The vaccination plan is not just random figures. This is a smart mathematical scheme for achieving herd immunity. Moreover, we do not fulfill it. The more conditions for vaccination we create, the less the population's response," the Head of the region stressed.
According to the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, the number of vaccinated among the sick is 1%. At the moment, only about 52% of the plan has been vaccinated with the first component. "We will reach this rate of 80% required for collective immunity only in October next year," said the Minister of Health of Bashkiria, Maxim Zabelin. Only 30% of residents over 60 are vaccinated.
Meanwhile, in hospitals, the accessible bed fund is 2.4% today. For patients with COVID, 2520 beds are deployed, 2610 are occupied, the minister cited the figures. There are fears that planned operations will have to be cut.
On September 30, the necessary anti-epidemic measures were discussed. First of all, a pass will be introduced to institutions of state power, culture and sports, leisure establishments, catering, and shopping centers using QR codes and certificates of vaccination or previous illness. A similar measure is being introduced on the Orlan train. It was proposed to transfer music and art schools to distance learning, except for individual lessons. "The transition to distance learning in general education schools immediately yielded results. If earlier every day they grew by 140 - 160 children, there was a day when 200 fell ill, in the last three days the wave falls: on September 26 - 68 children, on September 28 - 34, on the 29th - 28 children", the Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aibulat Khazhin confirmed.
In public transport, inspections of observance of the mask regime will be strengthened.
Strengthened measures will be introduced gradually - on October 4, 12, and 18, so that people have time to prepare.
