Radiy Khabirov met with Bashkortostan natives living in Kazakhstan

Today, in the House of Friendship of Nur-Sultan, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with people from the republic living in Kazakhstan.

The Head of the Region greeted his fellow countrymen in the Bashkir language.

"Good afternoon, dear friends! When we were planning a visit to Kazakhstan, we really wanted to see the natives of our republic who live and work here remembering their roots," Radiy Khabirov said. "In total, 17 thousand Bashkirs live in peace and harmony in Kazakhstan."

The Head of Bashkortostan thanked the country's leadership for creating favorable conditions for preserving and developing the national identity of all residents of Kazakhstan.

Radiy Khabirov announced the imminent release of the Russian-Bashkir online translator "Bashkortsoft" and invited people from Bashkortostan to take an active part in the International dictation in the Bashkir language.

"Today, we have opened a Representative Office of the Republic's Congress Bureau in Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan. In fact, this is a platform for developing foreign economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, " he noted. "One of its tasks is to support and interact with the Bashkir community in Kazakhstan."

The Head of Bashkortostan also spoke about the state program for the resettlement of compatriots to Russia.

"Since 2018, 200 of our fellow countrymen have returned to Bashkortostan under this program," Radiy Khabirov said. "Now, we are completing the formation of plans for the period up to 2026. I ask you to familiarize yourself with this program. Bashkortostan is waiting for you. We are interested in having active and hardworking people who are ready to develop our republic. In addition, now we are developing a project to educate children of immigrants from Bashkortostan in leading universities in the region. "
