Working meeting between Head of Bashkortostan and President of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan

On September 28, Nur-Sultan hosted a working meeting between the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The President stressed that strategic cooperation with Russia was increasingly influencing the interregional interaction of the two countries.

According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, despite the ongoing Covid pandemic, the multifaceted ties between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan were developing at a high pace and acquiring new content.

Radiy Khabirov noted that Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan had a mutual interest in cooperation in various fields.

“We are ready to expand industry ties, industrial cooperation, and jointly be engaged in the production of high value-added products,” the Head of Bashkiria said. “And we would like our Kazakh brothers to know more about the Bashkir region so that Kazakhstan will rediscover its kindred spirit in multinational Russia”.

The parties noted that the number of joint ventures was growing, investment projects in petrochemistry, agriculture, metallurgy, light industry, and other industries were successfully implemented.
