Turnout in elections was 73.9 percent in Bashkiria, according to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of the republic at 10.00 on September 20.
By this hour, 88.42% of the protocols have been processed, the chairman of the commission Ilona Makarenko said during the briefing.
Of the 14 parties that participated in the elections in Bashkiria, United Russia leads by a large margin (68.05% by 10.00), and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) with 14.97% of the vote and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) with 6.31% are in the Duma. The Novye Ludi party has gained 3.9% so far and will receive state funding.
"Fair Russia" received 2.67% of the vote, the "Party of Pensioners" - 1.16%, the rest did not even get 1%.
The highest turnout was noted for Salavatsky (96%), Tatyshlinsky and Blagovarsky (93% each) districts, the cities of Salavat (75%), Sibay (73%), Oktyabrsky (70%).
