39 temporary polling stations in hospitals, sanatoriums, and pre-trial detention centers will open in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, 39 temporary polling stations will open at hospitals, sanatoriums, and pre-trial detention centers on a single voting day for candidates for State Duma deputies - September 19. Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Bashkortostan Marat Gadilov spoke about this at a briefing at the Public Press Center "Elections-2021".
"For residents of Bashkiria, 39 temporary polling stations will be opened in hospitals, sanatoriums, and pre-trial detention centers. There are also people there who have an active right to vote. Of course, they can vote, and we provide them with this opportunity. Full-fledged polling stations will be deployed. The only thing is that they will work only for one day - September 19. For those who do not have registration in Russia, there is a section in Ufa on Posadskaya Street, 26. You need to have a passport with you," Marat Gadilov said.
He also noted that on the morning of the first voting day, September 17, all 3,403 polling stations in Bashkiria opened, people were coming. At polling stations, voters are given personal protective equipment - masks, gloves, disposable pens. All voters get their temperatures measured. Entry and exit streams are, if possible, separated.
According to the Central Election Commission RB representative, the voting process in the region can be observed through 1,320 cameras equipped with PECs. In addition, tens of thousands of observers and more than 500 journalists will work at the polling stations.
"The whole process is open and transparent," he added.
