Central Election Commission RB reported readiness for elections in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, on September 17-19, a little more than 3 million people will be able to participate in the elections, of which 43 thousand will use their suffrage for the first time. The leadership of the Central Election Commission RB announced it at a press conference at the Bashinform News Agency.
On the territory of Bashkortostan, in addition to elections of deputies to the State Duma, additional elections of deputies of the State Assembly will be held in Tolbazinsky No. 29, Krasnokholmsky No. 43 and Buysky No. 55 constituencies, elections to the city councils of Ufa, Birsk and Beloretsk, as well as elections to some village councils. A total of 175 campaigns, during which 312 seats will be distributed, plus voting by lists.
In the elections to the State Duma, 14 parties were registered, 59 candidates from 13 parties were registered in six single-mandate constituencies. 11 candidates from 4 parties were registered in the by-elections to the State Assembly of Bashkiria, one candidate is a self-nominated candidate.
In total, 3403 polling stations will operate in the republic, including polling stations in hospitals, in places of detention, in sanatoriums, at a railway station, in nursing homes. For those who do not have registration in Russia, there is a station at Posadskaya Street, 26 in Ufa. In 272 settlements, 30 thousand people will vote at mobile stations-buses. PEC members will visit citizens with limited mobility at home.
Bashkiria received 500 million rubles from the federal budget to organize the voting procedure, Ilona Makarenko, chairman of the Central Election Commission RB, said.
Video surveillance covers 40% of stations. A public video surveillance center, organized by the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan, will operate in the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater.
3,030,100 ballots of two types were published for Bashkiria - according to party lists and in single-mandate constituencies. Almost a quarter of the ballots were made for voting using the voting machines. There is no online voting in Bashkiria yet; it is being implemented in the country in stages. The timing of the online voting opportunity for residents of Bashkiria is still unknown, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Bashkortostan Marat Gadilov said. This year it is available only in seven regions of the Russian Federation.
21 thousand people applied to observe the voting. By law, observers can be sent by parties and candidates running in elections, as well as by public chambers.
